Disneyland Hotel Wedding Celebration in Anaheim, California | Documentary Wedding Photography

It all began with a simple hello at a dental office and somehow it grew into a love that feels steady, intentional, and deeply respectful.

Steven and Jasmine are lovingly known as “Javen,” which feels like the perfect reflection of the partnership they have built together. Their wedding began with a meaningful Catholic ceremony surrounded by family, faith, and so much love. The celebration continued the next day at the Disneyland Hotel, where they brought their Cinderella-inspired wedding vision to life in the sweetest way. ✨

Getting to know Steven and Jasmine has been such an honor and blessing. As a documentary wedding photographer, I never take for granted the opportunity to witness stories like theirs through my lens. Their relationship is grounded in thoughtfulness, respect, and genuine care for one another, and you can feel that in every interaction they share.

What I admire most about them is how they embrace real life together. Long workdays, ambitious goals, and busy schedules never distract them from what matters most. They continue to show up for each other with patience, calmness, and love that feels secure and steady.

Their wedding at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim was filled with meaningful moments, joyful energy, and the people who love them most. From emotional family interactions to playful Cinderella details woven throughout the celebration, every part of the day reflected who they are together.

This is what makes documentary wedding photography in Southern California so meaningful. It preserves the real moments, the genuine emotions, and the quiet connections that couples will carry with them forever.

Hannah and Spenser planned a quick coffee date that somehow turned into a four hour conversation. Somewhere between talking about life and laughing nonstop, that simple meet up became the beginning of their story, and now here we are at their wedding.

From the very beginning, they were so easy and fun to be around. Every conversation leading up to the wedding ended with all of us laughing. Hannah is thoughtful, driven, and loves having a plan. Spenser is calm, grounded, and brings an instant sense of ease into every moment. Together, they create a steady and supportive balance that feels incredibly natural.

They are happiest while taking road trips, spending time outdoors, or staying home with records playing while the night moves slowly. Their wedding at Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay reflected that same feeling throughout the entire day. The celebration felt joyful, emotional, and deeply personal, surrounded by the friends and family who know and love them best.

As documentary wedding photographers, these are the stories we love capturing. Real connection, genuine laughter, and moments that unfold naturally always tell the strongest story. This is what makes documentary wedding photography so meaningful because every image preserves not only how the day looked, but also how it truly felt.

Hannah and Spenser, thank you for trusting us to document your wedding day. It was such an honor to witness your love and the beautiful community surrounding you.

Color everywhere. Joy everywhere. Love everywhere.

That is the only way to describe Alexis and Katherine’s wedding at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, California. 🌈💛✨

Family and friends from all corners of the LGBTQ+ community came together with so much heart. Kids were running around, hugs were constant, and happy tears showed up in the most beautiful moments. Everyone who loves them most gathered in one place to celebrate two women who give so much love right back.

Their ceremony was unforgettable. Their drag queen officiant brought so much energy, heart, and personality. The vows were meaningful, the vocals were incredible, and the celebration continued on the dance floor with everyone joining in. It created a space that felt joyful, safe, and full of life.
